Our bedroom, like the rest of our home, is rustic/farmhouse inspired. Our bed frame is from Wayfair. (You can find a similar bed Here.) I saw this bed a immediately pictured it in our home. Wayfair's price made it even more appealing! It fit our home and style perfectly! We purchased our mattress from Rooms to go. It was during Memorial Day, so we got such a great deal. We decided on a Serta, it was comfortable and affordable. The bench is from Target.(You can find the same one here.) I ended up getting the mint green colored bench and painted it navy myself. It was cheaper and a fun little project.
Our nightstands are from Overstock (you can find them here.) I saw them on Wayfair, but Overstock had a better deal. I bargain when I can, I mean who doesnt like to save money?! Our dresser is also from Overstock (you can find it here). We had to build them, which was fun (until it wasn't), and by build I mean read directions and get flustered. The lantern I bought for our wedding through a wholesales website, I have a few throughout our home. There is still a few things to do, like we need curtains, but that will come with time. I couldn't feel more at home here. It is kinda of weird how quickly it felt like Home. The only other two places that felt like that were my grandparent's house and my mom's house that she has now. It always took time to feel at home, not here!
It definitely helps that my neighbors are friendly. I have already bonded with my neighbors to my left. They are an older couple. Ron and Judy, who take care of grandma Bobbie. Judy and I have already become close. She reminds me of my mom (in personality) and my grandmother (in creativity). We are planning to paint pumpkins this weekend. I am hoping that she could teach me the things Nana never was able to. Shes becoming my adoptive grandma. Its nice to have someone like that close. No one could ever replace Nana, but she can help bring things that were Nana into my life. Ron reminds me alot of Papa too. He's friendly but slightly reserved. He has helped us so much already! He would do anything for anyone and that was Papa. This is probably why I am so drawn to them. I miss them so much...
